Studio Rick Rack Screamin' Hot Glass
Welcome to Studio Rick Rack, home of Quiche Beads! Check in here to find out where you can find me, what shows and markets are on my schedule and for the latest in what is coming out of the studio.
I have a lampworking studio in Upper Sandusky, Ohio which is pretty much located in the dead center of nowhere and everywhere. I live in a barn that I heat with a wood stove and it is very cozy. But before it gets too cold, I split for the Tex/Mex border and the coastal bend area for the winter. I make beads with a variety of glass in a variety of styles but I especially love making wound hollow beads. I visit any and all flea markets, swap meets, rummage sales and junk shops anytime, anyplace. I describe my style as "early attic/late basement" and am stuck somewhere around higher low brow and lower high brow. I live very frugally.
